The BA Film Club enjoyed a trip to The Projector cinema to see 'What's Love Got To Do With It?' on Sunday evening. The film explores the contrast between Eastern and Western approaches to romance and attitudes to arranged/assisted marriage.
Whilst it followed the typical rom-com structure, it also touched on cultural differences and attitudes in modern Britain. Emma Thompson's supporting role had us laughing with her flair and, at times, inappropriate comments. All in all we enjoyed this modern-day rom-com.
