Batik Workshop

Come and enjoy a morning of learning Batik, a traditional wax technique for fabric design originating from Java. Participants will be introduced to the history of batik that relates to the South East Asian heritage, its traditional methods and be guided on the proper use of tools like the ‘tjanting’ and dyeing. No pre-requisite skills required.
