Charities We Support

Through our events and activities, we raise funds and awareness for causes close to our community - championing inclusion, resilience, and hope across Singapore.

Mushroom Buddies

Mushroom Buddies is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to creating meaningful employment for differently-abled youth in Singapore.

At their farm, team members work alongside dedicated volunteers in an environment built on inclusion, acceptance, and personal growth - one that nurtures each individual where they are and helps them flourish.

Their organically grown gourmet mushrooms are sold to local restaurants, hotels, and individual customers. All proceeds are reinvested directly into sustaining and expanding their mission. Through their Donor Programme, they also give back by donating mushrooms to Homes for the Elderly and Soup Kitchens across Singapore.

The British Association is proud to support Mushroom Buddies this year through donations raised at our activities and events.

SOCIAL SERVICES & COMMUNITY

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army has served the people of Singapore since 1935 - standing beside the underprivileged, the vulnerable, and the forgotten, without discrimination of any kind. To them, every life is precious.

Over nine decades, they have built a comprehensive network of social services that reaches across the full spectrum of need - supporting vulnerable children and youth, the elderly, struggling families, and isolated migrant workers. No matter one's age, race, or religion, help is there.

The Salvation Army Band has graced our Christmas Events for several years, and the British Association is proud to continue supporting their enduring mission in Singapore.

Breast Cancer Foundation

Breast Cancer Foundation has been a beacon of hope for patients and their families since 1997 - committed to raising awareness, championing early detection, and ensuring no one faces breast cancer alone.

Through community-focused programmes, in-person support groups, and the Community Mammobus Programme, the foundation offers emotional, recovery, and knowledge support - helping individuals stay positive, informed, and confident throughout their journey.

The British Association proudly hosts an Afternoon Tea each year in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness, and we remain committed to supporting their vital work in Singapore.
