It is always interesting to see the origin and history as to how a club or organisation began. It is especially so in the case of organisations like ours which are run on a voluntary basis, and who provide so many different activities for members, give support to local charities and generally make our stay in Singapore more fulfilling.
Of course, for things to run smoothly we need a leader, a chairman, and it cannot be underestimated how important that person is to the team of volunteers who contribute, and to our members generally.
